FORT FAIRFIELD — The 30th Tiger Basketball Camp will be held June 20-24 for boys and June 27-July 1 for girls. Open to all boys and girls in grades 1­-8, camps will be limited to the first 125 applicants and will be held at the Fort Fairfield High School gyms. ORONO — The 14th annual cheerleading Spirit Camp will be held 9 a.m.-3 p.m. June 27-29, at the University of Maine Student Recreation Center. EAST MACHIAS — Downeast Salmon Federation’s fourth annual Smolt Bolt and Bloater Bash 4-mile trail race paired with a smoked alewife celebration, Saturday, May 21. Race will start at the Machias dike and follow the Downeast Sunrise Trail to the East Machias Aquatic Research Center at 13 Willow St., where whole alewives, also called bloaters, will be smoked.
