WOOLWICH, Maine — A Woolwich man who was reported missing earlier this month has been found safe, the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday evening in a Facebook post.

Benjamin Fisher, 20, has been found and is safe from any harm. He has returned to his residence and has been reunited with his family.

Fisher left his house on Tallman Road in Woolwich on May 23 to go to work at Staples in Brunswick, but he never arrived, Sheriff Joel Merry said in a statement issued on June 2.

Merry said at the time that there was a concern about Fisher’s well-being because he has an undisclosed medical condition requiring regular attention.
