DEXTER – Raymond Alden Salsbury, 66 of Dexter, formerly of Berlin, Connecticut, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on June 15th. He was a wonderful son, father, brother and grandfather.
He is predeceased by his wife Diane (Dube) and father Raymond J. Salsbury.
Ray was a Vietnam Veteran and always proud of the US Military.
He leaves his daughter Tracy Nokes and her husband Wayne; his son,Brian Salsbury and his wife Anissa; his grandchildren Richard, Tyler, Aleah, and Bryce; and great granddaughter, Arianna. He also leaves his mother, Clara Salsbury; siblings Doreen Zigmont and her husband Timothy, Cheryl Wrobel and her husband Joseph, and Kevin Salsbury and his wife Marissa; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St. Ellsworth, 1 pm, June 23rd. Burial to follow at Otis Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray’s memory may be made to the Togas VA Medical Center, Attn: Voluntary Services, Hospice Unit Donation, 1 VA Center, Augusta ME 04330
