GOULDSBORO, Maine — More than 1,500 Emera Maine customers in Hancock County were briefly affected by a power outage Monday afternoon.

A company statement indicated 1,574 customers in Ashville, Birch Harbor, Gouldsboro, Manset, Sullivan and Winter Harbor were without service.
