HANCOCK, Maine — Police in Hancock County are searching for a man suspected of a domestic assault in the town of Hancock, according to the county’s Sheriff’s Department.
Sean Davis, 30, apparently fled the scene after the alleged incident Sunday and has not been located, according to a post on the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page.
According to the post, Deputy Jeff McFarland responded to a residence after the assault was reported, but Davis had fled by the time McFarland and officers from Ellsworth police and state police had arrived.
Officers searched the area for Davis but he was not located.
On Monday, police responded back to the same residence after they were advised Davis had returned and allegedly slashed the tires of a vehicle parked in the driveway his children had been sitting in, the post read. Davis subsequently fled again.
Davis is wanted on charges of domestic violence assault, criminal mischief and two counts of violating his bail, according to the post.
