WATERBORO, Maine — A traffic stop Friday night resulted in state troopers arresting a Waterboro man on drug possession and trafficking charges.
Travis Welch, 21, of Waterboro was taken into custody after two large bags containing approximately 70 different types of prescription pills, a bag of psilocybin mushrooms, two small bags of marijuana and other marijuana paraphernalia were found during a search of his vehicle.
Welch was charged with Class D unlawful trafficking of Schedule Z drugs and Class D unlawful possession of a Schedule X drug. Welch made bail and is set to appear at Springvale District Court in August.
