HOLDEN, Maine — Traffic is down to one lane on busy Route 1A in Holden due to two motor vehicle collisions that occurred about 15 minutes apart, a Penobscot Regional Communications Center dispatcher said.
One of the crashes occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m. near Gagne & Son Concrete Block and the other around 4:45 p.m. near Maine Military Supply.
Motorists should avoid the area if they are able.
