ST. JOHN VALLEY — Weather for Monday, August 1 – Sunday, August 7, 2016: High pressure will bring partly cloudy skies through Monday and Tuesday, though a weak upper trough will produce a chance for showers Tuesday afternoon. Skies will become partly sunny Wednesday afternoon as another upper-level disturbance crosses the Valley. A chance for showers and thunderstorms is possible Thursday evening as yet another disturbance crosses the region. A strong low pressure moving into central Canada then eastwards will pull a frontal system towards the Valley Friday-Saturday with a chance for showers and thunderstorms. The cold front moves east of the region Sunday though an upper disturbance may produce a chance for showers Sunday.
