WARREN, Maine — A Warren woman remained behind bars Friday after police say she threatened a man while armed with a knife.
Kara Salo, 30, was arrested Thursday morning at a Warren residence and charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and violation of a condition of release.
According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Salo had threatened and chased a man in the house while she had a knife.
Salo is being held without bail until she makes her initial appearance Friday afternoon in Knox County Unified Court. The sheriff’s office also reported that Salo had been free on bail at the time of her arrest. One of the bail conditions required that Salo check in daily at the Rockland Police Department, but police said she had not checked in since July 7.
Information about the initial charges for which Salo was on bail was not immediately available.
