WOOLWICH, Maine — Police closed a section of Route 1 in Woolwich for two hours Saturday afternoon after a three-car crash.

The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office says a car driven by Sara Busch, 71, of South Bristol crossed into the southbound lane, hitting another car. Busch’s car rolled over and hit a third car. Busch was transported by LifeFlight to Central Maine Medical Center with unknown injuries and the driver of the third car was taken to Mid Coast Hospital. Deputies are working to determine what caused Busch to cross the centerline.
