DURHAM, Maine — An Auburn man who was injured when his motorcycle crashed on Newell Brook Road in Durham on Saturday evening has died, a spokeswoman at Central Maine Medical Center said Sunday.

Kenneth Kilby, 73, was driving his black 1988 Harley-Davidson motorcycle west along Newell Brook Road when he left the road and crashed. The accident was reported shortly after 6:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office.

Kilby was not wearing a helmet at the time of crash, the sheriff’s office said.

He was taken by Lisbon Emergency to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

A dispatcher at the sheriff’s office said Sunday that no further information was available.

In an unrelated accident, a 26-year-old Brunswick woman was in fair condition Sunday after a single-car crash Saturday evening on Rabbit Road in Durham.
