BANGOR, Maine — If you heard a loud commotion over Bangor on Tuesday morning, it was several Israeli fighter jets that were on their way home, according to an official at Bangor International Airport.

Assistant Airport Director James Canders said a group of 10 Israeli F-16s were heading back home after conducting training in Nevada.

The F-16s stopped in Bangor to refuel after traveling east from Nevada.
