CHELSEA, Maine — Six people face charges after a woman was stabbed in Chelsea and investigators allegedly located heroin and made several drug arrests, including the woman who was stabbed.
On Friday afternoon, Maine State Police responded to a report of a stabbing at 1127 Eastern Ave. in Chelsea.
Tatyana Tomlinson, 20, of New York was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and being a fugitive from justice. Police also arrested Lindsay Traynum, 31, of Sidney at the scene for misuse of a public instrument and violating conditions of release.
Troopers allegedly found heroin and drug paraphernalia during the investigation in a vehicle in the driveway. Police executed a search warrant on the vehicle, owned by the stabbing victim’s roommate, Courtney Peaslee, and the residence and allegedly found more heroin and drug paraphernalia.
Jasmine Swift, the stabbing victim was arrested after being released from the hospital on a charge of unlawful possession of heroin.
Troopers, a state police tactical team and Maine DEA agents then raided an apartment on Hill Street in Farmingdale, allegedly finding more than 12 grams of heroin, marijuana, cash and drug paraphernalia.
Along with Peaslee, Megan Woodcock, 19, of Randolph and Wendell Bazemore, 30, of New York were arrested on a charge of aggravated trafficking in heroin. Peaslee also was charged with violating her conditions of release.
