LINCOLNVILLE, Maine — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office has released a sketch of the man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in Lincolnville earlier this month.
Deputies say they received a report on Oct. 1 of a possible sexual assault that occurred at a business in Lincolnville.
Deputies met with a woman who said she had been at her business alone when a man approached the counter and blew a powder into her face.
The victim claimed the powder caused her to become unconscious at which time she believes she was sexually assaulted by the man.
The suspect was described as an older male with brown wavy hair. He is approximately 6’ to 6’2” and weighs over 200 pounds.
Detectives are investigating every aspect of the case and are encouraging anyone with information to contact Detective Dale Brown of the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office at 338-2040.
