WALDOBORO, Maine — The suspect behind a standoff in Waldoboro is now in custody, according to police.
Police identified the man as Brian Bennett. He is facing several charges.
Police say no shots were fired.
The standoff began around midnight Friday.
Firefighters said they had to evacuate several homes in the area.
