Forest Hills outscored Pine Tree Academy 16-2 in the fourth quarter to pull away for a quarterfinal victory at the Augusta Civic Center on Tuesday morning.
Caitlin Logston scored 10 of her game-high 25 points in the pivotal fourth quarter for the fifth-seeded Tigers of Jackman (11-8), who advance to play No. 1 Rangeley in Thursday’s 11:30 a.m. semifinal.
Patricia Lessard tossed in 15 points for the winners, who trailed 29-26 after three periods.
Alexandra Goodman tallied 20 points to lead Pine Tree Academy (13-6).
Rangeley 36, Valley 24
At the Augusta Civic Center, the Lakers built a 10-point halftime lead on the way to a quarterfinal win over the Cavaliers.
Celia Philbrick and Natasha Haley scored 12 and 10 points, respectively, to propel top-seeded Rangeley (16-3) into the semifinals.
The Lakers play No. 5 Forest Hills in Thursday’s 11:30 a.m. semifinal game.
Samantha West paced No. 8 Valley of Bingham (4-15) with 12 points.

Old Orchard 45, Madison 41
At the Augusta Civic Center, the Seagulls converted six of their nine free throws in the fourth quarter to outlast the Bulldogs in a girls quarterfinal game.
Emily Greenlee headed a balanced effort for No. 4 Old Orchard Beach (12-8) with 15 points, while Meghan LaPlante scored 14 and Brianna Plante posted 11 points.
Fifth-seeded Madison (14-6) was led by Sydney LeBlanc’s 12 points. Lauren Hay added nine points.
OOB and No. 1 Richmond (19-0) square off on Thursday at 4 p.m.
