GORHAM, Maine — A 75-year-old woman has died following a single-vehicle crash on South Street in Gorham around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Police said the woman’s vehicle went over an embankment at the traffic circle connecting Route 114 (South Street) and Route 112 (Bernard P. Rines Highway) and into the wetlands beyond.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation, and release of her identity is pending notification of next of kin.
