WESTBROOK, Maine — Firefighters battled flames Wednesday night in Westbrook.
When crews arrived, flames were engulfing the back of a home on Dana Court.
The family who lives there wasn’t injured.
Westbrook’s fire chief said this situation could have been a lot worse.
In addition to the flames, the chief said crews had to deal with windy conditions and the heat.
Officials are working to determine an exact cause.
