A York County man is accused of running over a woman with his tractor during a dispute over plants in his yard.
Leslie Dennis, 64, of Acton is charged with aggravated assault.
Dennis reportedly called the sheriff’s department earlier in the day to report that the tenants he was trying to evict were ripping up plants in his back yard, but he was told it was a civil matter.
The sheriff’s department said Dennis then drove his tractor at a woman and her adult son, who then allegedly hit Dennis with a shovel.
Authorities said Dennis hit the woman with the tractor, breaking her hip.
Dennis is out on bail. It’s unclear if anyone else will face charges.
