A pickup truck struck a house in Waterboro early Sunday morning after the driver apparently fell asleep at the wheel.
Deputies were summoned to the 200 block of Main Street in Waterboro after receiving a report that a vehicle struck a house there, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.
Upon arrival, deputies determined that a 2009 GMC 2500 pickup went off the road and struck the residence.
The driver of the vehicle, a juvenile, appeared to have fallen asleep at the wheel, according to police. There was one other passenger in the vehicle.
Both were uninjured and declined transportation to the hospital.
The homeowner was at home but was not injured in the crash. There are no charges anticipated.
