A fatal crash closed a portion of Route 3 in Ellsworth Monday morning, according to WABI-TV.
A vehicle struck a tree near High Street, just past Marden’s, around 4 a.m. Monday, according to the news station. The driver was killed in the crash.
The road reopened the road around 7 a.m., according the the Hancock County Emergency Management Agency. Police continue to investigate and haven’t yet released the driver’s identity.
