BANGOR, Maine — Ryan Libby pitched a one-hitter and backed his own cause by hitting a double and a single to propel Bangor East to a 14-0 victory over Hermon in a District 3 ages 11-12 Little League baseball all-star game at Taylor Field.
The game was shortened by the 10-run rule.
Landon Clark hustled out an inside-the-park home run, Anthony Dorr smacked a three-run double and Billy Baron hit two singles for the 2-0 winners.
Brady Theriault singled for 0-1 Hermon.

Old Town 10, Millinocket 0
At Millinocket, Gabe Gifford pitched a no-hitter and also rapped a triple and double to power the Old Town all-stars to a District 3 ages 11-12 victory.
Jackson Lizzotte singled twice for the winner to back winning pitcher Gabe Gifford.
For Millinocket, losing pitcher Caleb Shearer reached twice via base on balls.
Sebasticook 6, Orono-Veazie 0
At Orono, Alex Grant pitched a one-hitter, striking out 10 and walking one, to spark Sebasticook Valley of Newport to victory.
Connor Sides hit an inside-the-park home run and s double to pace the offense for the winners. Alex Brewer singled twice and Jacob Neumayer doubled.
Ben Sidelko singled for Orono-Veazie.
Machias 15, Calais 2
At Calais, Ethan Libby and Brian Dennison combined to throw a two-hitter as Machias beat Calais in an ages 11-12 all-star game.
Dennis poked a two-run triple to highlight a seven-run fourth inning that broke the game open. Carson Prout and Caden Schwinn each hit two singles and knocked in three runs for Machias.
Ethan Libby pitched the first 1 2/3 then Dennison closed out the contest.
For Calais, Ryland Sabattus singled and drove in two runs to back losing pitcher Matt Dana.
