Kris Matchett of Skowhegan put an exclamation point on his 2018 championship
run in the Dysart’s Late Models Saturday night at Speedway 95 when he held off
2017 champion Brenton Parritt of Steuben to post his fourth win of the season.
Matchett took the lead in the 40-lap feature on lap 5 when he passed 2011
champion Mike Hopkins of Hermon. Matchett had to fend off the challenge from Parritt, who rode on his bumper most of the remaining 35 laps.
Parritt finished a close second, with Hopkins a few car-lengths behind followed by John Curtis Jr. of Hampden and Todd Lawrence of Levant.
