A Wednesday morning fire in a barn at Beth’s Farm Market will keep the popular produce market closed until further notice.
Beth’s, a well-known farm and market in Warren, posted on its Facebook page around 7:30 a.m. that the marked would be closed.
“Due to the fire that started this morning in our barn, we are closed until further notice — we will keep everyone as updated as we can,” the post reads. “Everyone is safe. Thank you to the fire departments and first responders that are assisting us, and thank you all for your concern.”
A Knox County dispatcher confirmed Wednesday morning around 8:30 a.m. that an outbuilding at the farm was on fire.
By 10 a.m., fire crews had extinguished the fire, according to the Courier Gazette.
