The Saint Dominic Academy girls easily defeated Buckfield 64-28 Tuesday night in the Class C South preliminaries, earning a spot in the quarterfinals.
No. 8 Saint Dominic entered the tournament with an 11-7 record. No. 9 Buckfield ends its season with a 9-10 record.
Saint Dominic will go on to play Boothbay Tuesday, Feb. 19 in the C South quarterfinals. The team fell to Monmouth Academy 58-37 in the 2018 quarterfinals.
