The Washburn girls held on to a 43-35 lead over Wisdom in Tuesday night’s Class D North preliminary game, earning a spot in the quarterfinals.

No. 8 Washburn entered the tournament with a 8-10 record.

Washburn will advance to play Southern Aroostook on Monday, Feb. 18 in the quarterfinals.
