No. 8 Fryeburg Academy defeated No. 9 Leavitt 57-21 Thursday evening to advance to the A South girls quarterfinals.
Fryeburg’s season improves to 5-14. Leavitt ends its season with a record of 5-14.
The winner moves on to play No. 1 Greely on Monday, Feb. 18 in the quarterfinals.
Fryeburg did not qualify for a spot in the 2018 tourney; Leavitt exited in the first round.
