No. 3 Gorham girls defeated No. 6 Sanford 56-37 Thursday evening to earn a spot in the AA South semifinals.
Gorham’s record improves to 13-6 for the season. Sanford ends its season with a 8-11 record.

Gorham will see action again on Wednesday, Feb. 20, as the Rams take on No. 2 Scarborough in the semifinals.
Gorham fell to Edward Little in the 2018 AA state championship game, after previously winning back-to-back titles.
