The fifth-seeded boys of Traip Academy of Kittery pulled off an upset Monday night to defeat No. 4 Boothbay 70-60 Monday night at the Augusta Civic Center to advance to the C South semifinals.

Traip’s record improves to 15-5. Boothbay’s season ends at 14-5.

Traip’s next match will come Thursday, Feb. 21, when they go up against the winner of Monday’s matchup between No. 1 Winthrop (17-1) and No. 9 Dirigo (8-11).
