KITTERY, Maine –– A Maine State Police trooper has been injured after their cruiser was reportedly hit in a construction zone in Kittery Wednesday morning.
The cruiser was struck within a construction zone on the northbound side of the Piscataqua River Bridge, police said.
The trooper was taken to a New Hampshire hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
New Hampshire State Police are assisting Maine State Police with the investigation.
