The most urgent crisis is that arms and humanitarian aid can’t get into Ukraine because of the press of refugees trying to get out. The solution is what Dwight Eisenhower devised during the Normandy invasion: a one-way road, The Red Ball Express, leading in from one border crossing, and out from the next. It’s an obvious solution, but they haven’t done it yet.
