A pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle on Broadway Wednesday morning has died, Bangor Police said in a statement.
Allen Emery, 56, of Bangor was struck by a vehicle at about 6 a.m. near McDonald’s.
First responders at the scene initially reported that he was seriously injured. Police later reported that he had died.
Police said the driver of the vehicle that hit Emery is cooperating fully with Bangor detectives.
Broadway was closed while police investigated but reopened by 8 a.m.
