No. 8 seed Fryeburg Academy defeated No. 9 Mount Ararat of Topsham 52-45 in a Class A South boys playoff basketball game Tuesday. The win sends Fryeburg into the quarterfinals against No. 1 Gray-New Gloucester Friday at 9 p.m. at the Augusta Civic Center.
