The 7th-seeded York girls basketball team defeated No. 10 Mountain Valley 46-32 in a Class B South preliminary game Tuesday. The win sends York into the quarterfinals against No. 2 Medomak Valley at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Augusta Civic Center.
