Update: The state medical examiner’s office concluded that the two people died by suicide.
Two people have been found dead in Milford.
Deputies went to a County Road residence about 5 p.m. Wednesday to conduct a well-being check, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
When they arrived, the officers found the dead bodies, Moss said Thursday.
Both deaths are considered suspicious.
The bodies have been taken to the Maine medical examiner’s office in Augusta, where autopsies will be conducted to determine their cause and manner of death.
Police don’t believe there is a threat to the public.
