The Walmart Supercenter at 201 Civic Center Drive in Augusta was evacuated on Thursday afternoon in response to a bomb threat, according to Augusta police.

At a little before 3 p.m., Augusta police said all customers and workers were out of the store, and Maine State Police had a bomb sniffing dog en route.

Police said no additional information is yet available.
