Firefighters are actively working to contain a brush fire in Milford.

The fire at Thornton Construction on the Bradley Road was extinguished on Sunday morning, but officials have remained at the scene to ensure that flare-ups don’t occur, according to a Facebook Post by the Milford Fire Department.

The remains of the fire are expected to continue to smoke throughout the day, but officials advise there is no danger to the public at this time.
