A Gardiner man died in a crash on Interstate 95 on Thursday morning.
Maine State Police discovered Philip Marson’s white Nissan pickup truck in the median of the interstate near mile marker 117 in Sidney at around 7:01 a.m., according to spokesperson Shannon Moss.
The 69-year-old man died at the scene of the crash. No one else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
An investigation is underway, although officials believe speed may have been a contributing factor. Further details were not immediately available Thursday afternoon.
