It’s not a pleasant feeling being so negative all the time, but these days it’s a challenge not to be. So, on a positive note, I feel that we were born, raised and have lived in the most exciting years this world has known.

I worry that our nation’s sickeningly divided and floundering, and it keeps me awake at night trying to understand not only what’s unfolding, but what it might eventually take to right this sinking ship.

I don’t have many years left, and I intend to enjoy them as best I can, with the hope and prayers that my concerns for our country’s future is nothing more than worry on my part.

But, if action is what it takes, that’s where my remaining years will be invested, in the future of our country, fighting “the enemy within.”
