Recently, I had the privilege of attending a Pride event. Jordon Wood, the Democratic candidate I very much want to unseat Sen. Susan Collins, was there. There were a lot of people coming as far as the County to Pride. There are people all over the state who are yearning for a new and better candidate.

One of the many things I have seen in Wood is that he is unafraid to show up and participate in town halls. Ask him anything and he is willing to answer even the toughest of questions and that is something I believe Collins has failed to do. He has experience in Congress. From what I know, Jordan Wood is compassionate, articulate, and wanting new change.

He got my vote based on his website material and watching clips of him on the internet. In addition, he and I are both openly gay.

I hope people learn about Jordan and his background. I think he is what Maine needs and I hope people vote for him. His website is ElectJordan.com
