A man was shot to death in Augusta on Monday.
Billyjack Curtis, 51, of Augusta was found dead about 11:15 p.m. at a Flagg Street home, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The Maine medical examiner’s office found Curtis died from a gunshot wound and ruled his death a homicide, Moss said Friday.
Moss said that there’s no danger to the public.
The investigation is ongoing.
