The Stockton Springs Fire Department responded Saturday evening to a blaze at a camp-style home on Station Street, according to the Maine Department of Public Safety.

The two-and-a-half-story structure sustained extensive damage before the fire was extinguished, but no injuries were reported. No one was at the Stockton Springs home at the time of the fire.

The Maine fire marshal’s office determined it originated from a propane wall-mounted heater, according to spokesperson Shannon Moss.
