A portion of Central Street in downtown Bangor will be reduced to one lane Wednesday.

That will allow crews to work on a sewer manhole in the area of 74-86 Central St., extending from just before the Kenduskeag Stream crossing partway to the intersection with Harlow Street.

The street will have just one lane of traffic, and there will be no parking in the immediate work zone.
