Good morning. The state is settling into a nice stretch of weather with temperatures in the high 60s to low 80s from north to south and bountiful sunshine, broken only here and there by scattered showers or a thunderstorm or two. Here’s to summer weather we can actually enjoy!
Man fatally shot by ICE agent officially identified
A man who was fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Biddeford Monday has been officially identified.
The Maine Office of the Attorney General has officially identified him as 25-year-old Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero, whose family is working to bring his body home to Colombia.
His death remains under investigation.
The ICE agents have not been publicly identified, but have been placed on administrative leave. The agent believed to have fired the fatal shots was hired by ICE earlier this year.
