Are you watching those slick commercials of a smiling Susan Collins helping people with their medical needs? Don’t be bamboozled!
Sen. Collins voted to affirm the nominations of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Mehmet Oz, who between them are overseeing cuts to critical health services and organizations, including Medicaid and Medicare.
Collins voted to advance the One Big Beautiful Bill, which made mammoth cuts in health coverage that are expected to contribute to closings of rural hospitals and clinics.
I believe her votes for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and other legislation have severely damaged women’s ability to access reproductive healthcare.
She repeatedly skipped Senate hearings on medical debt, healthcare cost, and women’s health. (Why should she, a multimillionare, care?)
Her vote to advance the One Big Beautiful Bill occurred immediately after a PAC supporting Collins received a $2 million donation from a billionaire.
Don’t be fooled! I believe Collins does not care about your health!
