Country music star Jason Aldean kicked off his “Songs About Us” tour Thursday night on Bangor’s waterfront.

Aldean, who has five Grammy nominations, was joined at the Maine Savings Amphitheater by special guests Chase Matthew, Mackenzie Carpenter and Dee Jay Silver.
