The city pool in Brewer likely won’t be open for the rest of this summer.
According to city officials, the pool at 318 Wilson St. has ongoing issues with excessive water loss. It was not immediately clear what the cause of that water loss was.
The pool first closed last Friday, when the leak was discovered. It will remain closed to the public as the cause of the leak and possible solutions are explored.
City officials do not believe that the pool will be safe to open to the public before the end of summer. More information was not immediately available.
