Someone broke into a trailer in Bowdoin last week and tried to burn it down.
The abandoned trailer on John Tarr Road between July 19 and 25 and started a fire, according to Maj. Aaron Turcotte, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
It caused only minor damage, but the investigation into the blaze remains under investigation, Turcotte said Monday morning.
