A Lewiston man allegedly shot another man Monday evening in the city on the Androscoggin River.
Ethan Parrilla, 20, has been charged with attempted murder, elevated aggravated assault and violation of his conditions of release, according to the Lewiston Police Department.
Parrilla allegedly shot the 21-year-old in the leg about 6 p.m. during an altercation involving several men near Bartlett and Walnut streets.
The victim was taken to Central Maine Medical Center, where he was treated for injuries not considered life-threatening.
The shooting remains under investigation.
