A 29-year-old Hancock man was killed Friday night in a crash on Route 1 in Hancock, according to the Maine State Police.
At about 9:39 p.m. Friday, police responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
The operator of the motorcycle, Richard Ryan, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation, and police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has information about it to contact Trooper Bagley through the Bangor Regional Communications Center at 207-973-3700.
